About the tour

The Central India Tourcovers the widespread, native beautiful and green lands of central India. World heritage sites such asAjanata and Ellora caves, dance festivals, the spiritualitycentres of Omkareshwar and Ujjain , The mesmerizing beauty of the wonder of the world “TajMahal”, the tour provides with treks and wildlife for adventure junkies while art, heritage and culture for others. Tour ends in Mumbai known as the “city of dreamers”, which is home to India’s most prolific film industry, Asia’s biggest slums and the World’s Most Expensive Home. Mumbai is India’s financial powerhouse, fashion epicentre and a pulse point of religious tension.


  • Day 1 : Flight to Delhi
    Arrive Delhi. Meet staff of Aura Voyages at airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 2 : In Delhi
    Morning free to relax.
    Afternoon explore Old Delhi with visit to Jama Masjid, drive pass of Red Fort, walk through Chandni Chowk (market closed on Sunday).
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 3 : Delhi - Agra (drive – 4 hours)
    Morning drive to Agra.
    Afternoon visit Taj Mahal (closed on Friday) and Agra Fort.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 4 : Agra - Gwalior (by train)
    Morning board Shatabdi Express train to Gwalior.
    Afternoon visit Gwalior Fort and Schindia museum (closed on Wednesday).
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 5 : Gwalior - Jhansi (train) - Orchha / Khajuraho
    Morning transfer to railway station to board train to Jhansi.
    On arrival in Jhansi drive Orchha.
    Visit Orchha and drive to Khajuraho.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 6 : Khajuraho - Orchha (4 hours drive)
    Morning sightseeing of Khajuraho temples.
    After sightseeing drive back to Orchha.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 7 : Orchha - Bhopal
    Morning transfer to Jhansi railway station to board Shatabdi Express train to Bhopal.
    Afternoon visit Bhopal city.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 8 : Bhopal - Sanchi - Udayagiri - Vidhisha - Bhopal
    Morning excursion to Sanchi to visit some of India’s oldest Buddhist structures.
    Continue your journey to visit Udaygiri and Vidhisha before returning back to Bhopal.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 9 : Bhopal - Ujjain - Indore
    Morning drive to Indore with enroute visit of Ujjain, once an important trade centre of India and still one of the holiest pilgrimage centres for Hindus.
    Overnight at Indore.
  • Day 10 : Indore - Mandu
    Morning drive to Mandu.
    Mandu is a celebration in stone, of life and joy
    Overnight at Mandu.
  • Day 11 : Mandu - Maheshwar - Bhuranpur
    Morning drive to Maheshwar.
    Continue further to Bhuranpur.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 12 : Bhuranpur - Ajanta - Aurangabad
    Morning drive to Aurangabad with enroute visit to the World Heritage Site of Ajanta (closed on Monday) which could well be called the Louvre of ancient India
    Continue to Aurangabad.
    Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 13 : Aurangabad - Ellora - Mumbai
    Morning excursion to World Heritage Site Ellora cave temples (closed on Tuesday), located 30km from Aurangabad.
    Connect flight to Mumbai.
    Later in night, transfer to airport to connect flight to next destination.
  • Day 14 : Mumbai / fly to next destination.
